Used Elliptical Parts – Where To Get Discount Replacement Parts For Your Elliptical Trainer?

Imagine a scenario like this, you use you elliptical trainer every day and work hard keeping up with your fitness routine.  Then one day you go to use your machine are realize that it is broken. You have to look for elliptical replacement parts!

Yes even the highest quality elliptical trainers do break down, even if you feel you have purchased the best elliptical trainer money can buy!

 The next step is usually calling up the manufacturer to see if you can get a replacement part.  Usually you will receive one of two responses.

 1)   We can send you the part it is $100 for the part and $50 to ship it, these companies are notorious for jacking the part and shipping prices knowing your choices are limited to find a replacement part.

 2)   We do not sell parts direct to the public please contact one of our authorized repair  dealers.  These dealers often will not sell you the part, but require they come out and repair the machine.

This often results in higher repair costs and usually only involves removing a few screws or bolts and slapping the new part on.

For those of you that are comfortable replacing the part yourself, your best bet is contacting the manufacturer first, find out if they will sell the part to you and how much it costs.  Next look on websites like Ebay.com, many parts are available from people whose elliptical trainer broke and they disassemble the machine and sell it as replacement parts.

Lastly, look at local shops, many sell new replacement parts and slightly used parts from trade ins etc…
